Classic Chinese-Australian dishes that represents the epitome of a succulent Chinese meal. Old skool Chinese that’s tasty with no added msg, attentive staff and a perfectly balanced deep fried ice cream. My go to is the caramel sauce on the side so it doesn’t drown out the taste of crispy coconut batter. Great ambience and interior decor that’ll make you feel like an Emperor / Empress with double phoenix ceiling tiles and circular door frames

Exceptional quality of food and service! Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Sydney (and the design is so Chinese style we like it!)

As soon as you walk in, you're transported back into a typical Hong Kong restaurant. Waiters with white shirts, black trousers, and of course face marks, most of them. The white tablecloths give this restaurant a touch of Hong Kong sophistication. We ordered a fresh lively lobster 🦞 hand picked and transformed into lobster with Ginger and shallots.... so, so yummy, my favourite. Then we had the famous shredded beef, another winner, followed by sweet and sour chicken, not my liking, but I wasn't eating alone, followed by traditional fried rice and fillet steak with a heavy sauce. We finished the meal with lychees (canned) and ice cream. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the meals. However, the star of the night was the lobster. Definitely going back.

It's rare to find an old-style Chinese restaurant in Sydney with good food, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The traditional décor combined with the authentic flavors of the dishes, creates a unique dining experience that transports you back in time. The staff are attentive and friendly, ensuring every visit feels warm and welcoming making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special
occasions.

Came across this restaurant on a retro Chinese restaurants page on Facebook that had great reviews so we had to try. My partner and I are suckers for old school Chinese and this place did not disappoint. Food was delicious and generous servings. The decor is still the same as what it would have been when the restaurant first opened but that is part of the attraction and experience. Felt like I was transported back to my childhood. Waiters were attentive but be prepared as they do get extremely busy on a weekend. I hadn’t been to a Chinese restaurant in the suburbs in years where it was packed out! Will definitely be back!
